HSE recognised racking awareness courses which allows people in house to carry out checks on the racking to identify safety risks that could be potentially dangerous. It’s a diluted version of the full SEMA inspection course and it gives attendees the knowledge and confidence to carry these checks out. It can also greatly reduce the damages to your racking systems and associated costs with repairs.

HSE recommend that the following occurs

1. Any incident or damage to racks reported immediately

2. Weekly checks of the racks by a person responsible for racking safety (PRRS)

3. Annual SEMA Approved racking inspection
